The "B4 Controller" sections

|
THE "PRESETS" SECTION
In this section you can set:
- the Control Change (CC) number used by your midi keyboard (use a knob) to turn the B4 "bank rotary switch"
- the Note number corresponding to the key you want to use in your midi keyboard to select the first "inverted key" in the B4 upper manual: the subsequent 11 keys will select the other upper manual "inverted keys", whilst the previous 12 keys (if any) will select the lower manual "inverted keys". Take note that the keys used for this purpose must own to the keyboard used for the B4 lower manual (Midi Channel 2)
- the Note velocity above which the "inverted keys" are triggered, in order to avoid unwanted change of preset (the led blinks when the note velocity is above the threshold)
Moreover, you can choose to use one or two octaves of your keyboard both for playing and selecting the "inverted keys", setting a button of your masterkeyboard to the "Invert. Keys Switch"; this feature is very useful if you have only one masterkeyboard and don't want to sacrifice some keys only to select the "inverted keys" |

|
THE "DRAWBARS" SECTION
In this section you can set:
-
the CC number used by your midi keyboard (use sliders or knobs) to move the first drawbar of the B4 upper manual: it must match the CC number set in the "Controller Assignment" section of the B4 setup
-
the CC number used for making your midi keyboard sliders/knobs move the B4 lower manual drawbars instead of the upper manual ones (the led is on when you are using this feature)
-
the CC number used for making your midi keyboard sliders/knobs move the B4 pedalboard drawbars instead of the upper manual ones (the led is on when you are using this feature)
Take note that all these CC messages must be sent on Midi Channel 1 |
|
|

|
THE "MANUALS" SECTION
In this section you can set:
-
the CC number used for making your midi keyboard play the B4 pedalboard instead of the lower manual (the led is on when you are using this feature)
-
the CC number used for "couple" the upper manual and the lower one (the led is on when you are using this feature); in the "Coupler" mode, you can choose if the lower manual notes are to be played in the same octave or transposed 1 octave below
